Today November 6 is Malaria Day in the Americas, a day commemorated by PAHO and countries in the Americas to keep up the focus on malaria interventions and elimination efforts. 132 million people in this part of the world live in malaria at-risk regions. Tremendous gains have been made against this disease in the Americas but sustained progress and eventual elimination requires us to work even harder at all levels including basic and applied research, government service, public health, and other critical sectors. Be part of the solution to #EndMalaria, & be an advocate for malaria elimination #MalariaDayAmericas #zeromalaria
