Chaitra Parthiban, Melanie Shears, and Sean Murphy joined thousands of other global health researchers at National Harbor, Maryland for the annual American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Meeting. Our UW laboratory team presented findings on murine and rhesus models of malaria in our efforts to develop an effective malaria vaccine. The meeting is a tremendous opportunity to connect with colleagues from all over the world and to generate new and impactful ideas and collaborations to improve global health.
